Job Vacancies at Bedfordshire Golf Club 

Catering Opportunities - August 2021. 
 
We now have two catering opportunities in our kitchens. 
 
Chef 
To provide the complete bar menu for the golf club on a daily basis including preparation of sandwiches, light meals, breakfast and plated meals on demand as required. 
To assist the Head Chef with catered functions including in house club events and external bookings including wedding receptions and other large functions. 
To assist with the ordering and keeping of the kitchens in good clean order and maintaining all required records. 
Must be self motivated and able to work by yourself or under supervision as part of a team. Minimum of NVQ 1 required but NVQ 2 preferred. 
Full time position. Hours to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Immediate start available. 
Own transport required for this countryside Golf Club. 
 
Kitchen Assistant 
To assist in day to day operation of busy kitchen. 
Basic Food hygiene certificate preferred 
Experience required. Will include evenings and weekends. 
Own transport required for this countryside Golf Club.

Green-Keeper Vacancy - Role Now filled 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the green keeping team at Bedfordshire Golf Club. We are currently looking for an assistant green-keeper to help maintain our 27 hole parkland course. 
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. This is an outdoor and physical job and the successful applicant should be prepared to work in all weathers. We are looking for the following attributes:- 
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent 
High level of competence with modern green-keeping machinery 
Ability to work as part of a team or alone, self motivated 
Be able to work to the highest standards and possess a keen attention to detail with an ability to provide the best possible playing surfaces 
Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough 
Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers indicating OOB Drop zones and hazards 
Switch and brush greens
