Men's Club Matches

Men’s 2018 Club Matches - Fixtures, Dates and Your Availability.
This year's Men's Club Matches have now been arranged and a sheet will go up on the notice board 3-4 weeks before each match in order for those wishing to play, to put their names up. 10 days before each match, the team will be selected and posted on the Notice Board. We will try to ensure as many players as possible are involved over the course of the year.
All the dates for this year's matches are in the Club Diary with the first one being South Beds at home on 14th April. Following this, we have matches as follows:
Millbrook (Home - 28th April), Leighton Buzzard (Away - 19th May), Beds & County (Away - 21st July), Millbrook (Away - 4th Aug, Aspley Guise (Home - 25th Aug), Abbotsley (Away - 15th Sept) & John O’Gaunt (Home - 29th Sept).
If you are interested in playing in the Leighton Buzzard Match on 19th May (10:00am breakfast & 10:30am 1st tee time), I would like some early feedback please for your likely availability, as this also happens to be the day of a Royal Wedding at 13:00, the FA Cup final at 15:00 and the Deacon Dinner which will be 19:00 for 19:30.
Please send me an email to if you would like to play in this match, as if there are not enough players, I would like to cancel as early as possible.
Thanks in advance

Bedfordshire Golf Club defeat Wyboston Lakes in Scratch Match
BGC defeated Wyboston 4-0 in the Foursomes Scratch League last Saturday, the winning margin was a huge 28 holes up which may help when it comes to the final reckoning for promotion.
Our team was Seb Lovell and Colin Beard, John Owen and John Haines, Simon Hollands and Ian MacFarlane and Conor Kavanagh and Liam Greenwood.
Unfortunately team captain Richard Stevenson was unable to play as he is recovering from an operation, we all wish Richard a speedy recovery and hopefully the win will have helped.
